The ball valve has a ball in the seat that is used for spherical closing to start/stop and control the flow. The valve is positioned in the direction of the pipeline. It turns only a quarter turn i.e. 90°, when it is in open direction the open side of the ball is in the direction of the pipe opening. To close the valve it is rotated using the lever handle and the ball closes. The ball valves are highly durable and capacity to handle high temperature and pressure.
